Program Title: And Still ... I Rise

Mead's 2025 production "And Still...I Rise" is built upon the spirit of the Maya Angelou poem of the same name. It is a testament to the tenacity and resilience that resides within each of us as we pass through life hoping for great things, facing adversity, and ultimately choosing to rise up through the ashes of defeat. That, according to Angelou, is the "nobleness of the human spirit: That we rise...with passion, compassion, humor, and style." As always, the students and staff of the Mead High School Band would like to offer a sincere thank you to the Mead Bandwagon, to the parents and administration of the Mead School District, and to our show hosts. Without their support and dedication to the marching arts, none of this would be possible.
