Program Title: Generating Sentience

In a world surrounded by more and more technology each day, it becomes difficult to find our purpose in the world. Are we losing touch with human connection and joy, or can we find these feelings within ourselves? Join us on this journey to find our expression in this futuristic landscape. With music selections of “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish, “New World Symphony” from Antonin Dvorak, and “All Creatures of Our God and King”, we hope you enjoy West Salem’s 2024 Show, “Generating Sentience”. The band and guard programs at West Salem have been fortunate to enjoy many levels of success. The marching band, concert bands, and jazz ensembles consistently finish at the top of their competitive divisions. The program strives to instill music, dance, and life skills throughout all ensembles and activities. The music and guard programs offered at West Salem would not be possible without the incredible support from the band boosters, school district, community, and the awesome staff at West Salem High School. The students would like to thank all of these tremendous people for their support.
