Program Title: Passing the Torch

Fire, a symbol of both power and renewal, flickers at the heart of human legacy. The flame does not diminish when it is passed; instead, its light multiplies, illuminating new paths and enlightening those who are touched by its glow. As time passes, the led become the leaders, the novice becomes the master, and each generation carries this flame forward. In this exchange lies our greatest strength—the knowledge that what we inherit, we transform, and what we give, we entrust to shine even brighter. Featuring the music of Robert W. Smith, Dimitri Shostakovich, and Coldplay, we hope you enjoy the Sherwood Marching Band’s 2025 production, “Passing the Torch.”
