Program Title: Myth of the Dragon

A dragon’s shadow looms over the land, its legend steeped in fear and suspicion. But when famine and sickness bring the people to their breaking point, desperation drives them toward the very being they once avoided. Instead of ruin, they find renewal, as the dragon reveals a power not of destruction, but of hope. "Myth of the Dragon" features the following musical selections: Original Music by Andrew Reid, "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg, "Symphony no.8, mvt.4" by Anton Bruckner, "Light of the Seven" by Ramin Djawadi, "Requiem, K. 626: Lacrimosa" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and "Test Drive" from How to Train Your Dragon, by John Powell. We hope that you enjoy the McKay Marching Band's 2025 production, "Myth of the Dragon."
