Ryan Valencia


Biography

Ryan has been deeply involved in the pageantry arts for over 25 years. Originally from Florida, he began his journey performing with Coast One Winterguard and Northeast Independent. In 2004, he moved to the Pacific Northwest to perform with Northern Lights and has since made it his home. He also spent 4 seasons with the Cavaliers between 1999 - 2004.
Ryan has taught and designed for several organizations in the region, including serving as lead designer and director at Skyview High School from 2010 to 2016. He is also a founding member of Cascadia Winterguard.

In addition to his work in pageantry, Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a Master's degree in Global Supply Chain Management from Portland State University. When he's not immersed in the world of pageantry, Ryan enjoys attending live performances, including concerts, theater, and dance.
