| Jon Merritt is a percussion teacher in the Round Rock district of Austin TX. Jon is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens Ohio. He also marched with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 1991, 1992, and 1993. Jon was the percussion section leader for the World Champion Cadets Drum Corps in 1993. He also enjoys performing with Several Brass Bands and Orchestras. After graduating from Ohio University with his Music Education Degree Jon has been a band director for 13 years in Columbus Ohio. He just recently moved to Texas, and is extremely excited to be Teaching and Performing with some of the finest educators in the country | |
