Starting in 1992 with the McGavock High School marching band, Dean has continued to teach programs throughout the mid-south and Tennessee. He was able to work with programs that went on to become Bands of America finalists, WGI finalists, and WGI medalists. Dean' career as a drill designer, program coordinator, color guard director and consultant provided him the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit for multiple years. Dean is deepening his career and experience within the pageantry community now as a member of the judging community. He has adjudicated for the Gulf Coast Judges association, Carolina Winter Ensemble Association, the Winter Guard Association of Southern California, US Bands, and various marching arts competitions throughout the country. Dean currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with his wife Marea and fur baby Lily. When he is not judging or designing for performing arts organizations, he is a design supervisor for a local specialty home and flooring store. |
