| Originally from Southern California but now living in Ashland, Oregon. James started out as a Trombone player in his high school marching band then in 1992 and 1993 he marched euphonium with the Velvet Knights Drum Corps. He started his color guard career with the Axxis Winterguard in the late 90's and in 1998 he went on to march with Blue Devils Drum Corps. After that, James continued performing for the next 8 years with the Walt Disney company as a dancer in shows and parades. In 2012, he was inducted into the Winter Guard Association of Southern California Hall of Fame. James has worked with several Colorguards in the southern California area over the last 17 years. James currently works at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He received his Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts from Cal State Long Beach | |
